About Canela.TV

Canela is a free AVOD and streaming service built and curated for the US Hispanic population, with over 9,000 hours of content from 80+ content providers and a daily 30 minute news show. Launched in 2020, Canela has already rolled out on Roku, Samsung +, Apple TV, and is adding distribution partners and channels at a rapid pace.

Why Now

Latinos are almost one-fifth of the U.S. population but streaming services have mostly overlooked them, with no platforms focused on bilingual content and streaming leaders burying spanish language programming where it’s difficult to find. Canela is addressing this unmet need by providing relevant programming that viewers love without subscription fees.
