The Wing is seeking a Executive Director, Brand Partnerships to join our team. This person will work directly with the Chief Partnerships Officer and will play a critical role in the creative, promotion, and logistics development for signature programmings, core offerings, and custom proposals of Brand Partnerships.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Play a leadership role in the creative, promotion, and logistics development for signature programmings, core offerings, and custom proposals
    • Project management emphasis on development of Signature Programs
    • Play a pivotal role in post-sale client management, setting activation standards and playbooks for the team to utilize
    • Gear success metrics towards client and program growth and renewals
    • Develop metrics for success that will be amenable to both brand partners and The Wing
    • Serve as point of contact for both sales and marketing teams on program updates
    • Oversee creation of client marketing materials (general presentation, templated opportunities)
    • Play an active role in sales management, overseeing prospect lists and targets, particularly for big programs and motivating sales teams to rally around new initiatives and ideas.
    • Join sales calls and meetings to present The Wing and brainstorm concepts, as needed
    • Manage a growing team (currently of two, four by year’s end, with growth from there)

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 10+ years in sponsorship sales with event production experience in a managerial role
    • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
    • Articulate negotiator and resourceful problem solver
    • Strong knowledge of core sponsorship sales and event production elements, terms and processes
    • Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work in a fast paced environment
    • Proficiency with G Suite Apps
    • Appetite to work with an interdisciplinary team in a high-volume, fast-paced startup environment
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
